The Montgomery County Education Board is considering reassigning William B. Gibbs, Jr., Elementary School from currently Rocky Hill Middle School to either Neelsville or MLK Jr. Middle School and from currently Clarksburg High School to Seneca Valley High School. In addition to the original options offered (started with 8 options), MCPS has now added 6 more options (totaling 14 options with 10 unfavorable to Gibbs). Very important to take survey #2 even if you filled out the original survey
This reassignment would have a NEGATIVE impact on our community and our children's education. The Gibbs Community is asking for our neighborhood to stand united in support of our children’s future and keeping them in the Clarksburg cluster.

● Email and/or write to the school board at boe@mcpsmd.org 850 Hungerford Drive, Room 123, Rockville, MD 20850 For a copy of the suggested letter, please email us at CHSBoundarySurvey@gmail.com
● Email the superintendent - Mr. Jack Smith at Jack_Smith@mcpsmd.org
● Have your children write letters to both the Board of Education and Superintendent.
We have done extensive research on the options MCPS has offered. Option #12 is the best option that addresses their criterias for reassignments such as relieving overcrowding at Clarksburg High. Below are the suggested answers to keep Gibbs ES at Rocky Hill MS and Clarksburg HS.
