2. I Scream for Ice Cream During our Spring book fair extended hours on April 26th we will have a PTA event I scream for Ice Cream from 5:30 - 7 pm in the Cafeteria. Please stop by for some FREE Ice Cream.
3. TALENT SHOW Have you signed up for the Gibbs Got Talent show? Currently we have 10 acts signed up to perform already. Please read the requirements below.

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Friday, April 28th
Only Space for 35 acts that are 2 mins or less in length. If there are more than 35 submissions we will hold auditions with priority given to 5th graders.
- Each child may only perform in one act. - All performers must be a Gibbs ES Student - No Lip-syncing, singers are encouraged to use an accompanist or pre-recorded background music with no vocals (karaoke version) - Bring all needed props and musical instruments (except piano) - You must supply a copy of your script if performing a skit, comedy routine or dramatic reading. - Bring pre-recorded music on a smart device; parents are required to play music from their smart device, a CD player will not be provided. - All acts must be in good taste and appropriate for an elementary school talent show. Acts with inappropriate language/context for children will be eliminated from the show. Additionally, costumes must be appropriately modest.

3. Nominations Board Gibbs PTA is looking for members to be part of the nominations board to review future applicants for the role of President, Vice President and Secretary. 4. PTA Exec Board! We are also looking for members of the community to be part of the PTA Exec board, currently we will need a President, Treasurer and Secretary for the 2022-2023 school year. Both Grace and I have hit our 2 year term limit per the Gibbs PTA by laws and Matthew will be passing on the secretarial torch to a new person. If you would like to nominate someone or yourself please let me know, I have listed the roles and responsibilities below. Right now we have one person running for secretary.

Tanto Grace como yo hemos alcanzado nuestro límite de mandato de 2 años según las leyes de la PTA de Gibbs y Matthew pasará la antorcha de la secretaría a una nueva persona.
